The rest of yesterday was pretty wonderful.
I attended a gnarly chunk of my IR lecture before getting too antsy to sit inside. So I came home and hung out for a little before Jordan, Olivia and Mitchell came over for dinner. We made a pretty tasty salad. After food and bonding we went to Nost with Andrew and Melissa for some beers and live music. We didn’t get home until midnight and then continued to bond for a little while longer. I must say it was a pretty fabulous day and I hope the week continues to be this great. I also hope all of you are enjoying the sun and the company of the people you love.
I want cupcakes. Bring cupcakes. And coffee. Please.
Yesterday was a beautiful spring day! We ended up skipping econ because sitting in a classroom when the sun is meant to be absorbed seemed a little ridiculous. We went and bonded on Nostalgica’s patio for a while then I met up with half of Templeton to get some work done. I think I was at SITE for a couple of hours and I managed to finish my last critical reading summary, well almost. After working I came home, cleaned, and made dinner. Then I went to Jordan’s to see her new place! It’s quaint and cute and my kind of living. I hope to spend more time there. We had some wine, we relaxed and it was definitely the perfect ending to such a beautiful day.
I guess it would be nice to tell you about the rest of last week.
Wednesday turned out to be a super busy day. It involved vermicelli, seeing the Lorax with my Tweed famjam, losing in the OPIRG elections by one vote (another nominee and I tied for the last spot of the board), studying and an open mic night coffee house for breast cancer put on by PIDSSA. Busy but I like it!
The rest of the week involved a copious amount of yoga (we are trying to get at least half an hour in every morning), coffee, readings, dinner with the fam, much needed skype dates, the library, more readings, more coffee, bonding with JHO, Indian food, Ritual, the library again (we went for a couple of hours on St Patty’s ), 4 o’clock beers on the Nostalgica patio, hanging out there for a while, more drinking, more bonding, eating, bonding, sleeping, more yoga, thrift shopping, finally finding the board game Life, grocery shopping, more patio beers, more vermicelli, more bonding, and sleep.
The sun is shining and I’ve been in shorts since Saturday. Life is good.
